National Recognition

Our physicians are ranked among the top in the nation in patient care outcomes and quality measures. We are ranked among the top in the nation in adenoma detection rate, an important measure of quality and efficacy of colonoscopy. Clinical studies have shown that high adenoma detection rate reduces the risk of colon cancer and death from colon cancer by over 40%. Our physicians hold national and state leadership positions. Dr. Ratnakar served as the Governor of the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG) and is a member of the task force of the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE) on Innovations in Endoscopy.

Our endsocopy services meet the standards of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid and Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) and is certified by the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE).  These standards  distinguish us by providing the highest quality of care to our patients. We meet nationally recognized standards for the provision of quality health care. We are the only facility of its kind in the region that is ASGE certified. It means we as an organization care enough about our patients to strive for the highest level of care possible. ASGE certified facilities undergo an extensive assessment by experts who are actively involved in endoscopy services. Going through the process challenges us to find better ways to serve our patients and it is a constant reminder that our responsibility is to strive to continuously improve the quality of care we provide.
